Getting your chart right
Tala computes real positions, so accuracy depends on your birth time. An exact time from a birth certificate gives you a correct Ascendant and houses. If you do not know your time, enter noon: your planets will still be accurate, but your Ascendant, houses, and Moon degree may shift. You can edit your details any time in Settings.
Why does my sign look different here?
Tala places every planet at its true degree for your exact moment and location. If you were born near a sign boundary, a computed chart can differ from a magazine horoscope that uses date ranges only. Tala shows the sky, not the shortcut.
The voice will not play
Check your ringer switch and volume first, then confirm you have a network connection, since the studio voice is generated online the first time you play a reading. Audio is cached afterward, so replaying is instant and works offline. If a reading still will not play, force quit Tala and reopen it.
Tala Plus
Tala Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks your full natal portrait, Big Moment readings, and unlimited focused readings. Your chart, live transits, dated forecast, and the Little Book of Sky are always free. Manage or cancel any time on your device: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Apple handles all billing, renewals, and refunds.
Restoring purchases
Reinstalled Tala or switched devices? Open the Tala Plus screen and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.

Your birth details never leave your device. See our privacy policy for the full detail, including exactly what is sent when you use the spoken readings.
